Entropia Universe Version Updates

This archive preserves the complete history of Entropia Universe Version Updates, documenting the technical evolution of the platform and the development of its virtual worlds. Each update represents a snapshot in the ongoing transformation of the universe, from early system foundations and gameplay mechanics to major graphical upgrades, planetary expansions, and platform milestones.

The release notes collected here provide insight into how the real-cash economy virtual universe has evolved over time — including engine transitions, interface redesigns, new systems, balance adjustments, and community-driven improvements. Together they form a chronological technical record of the changes that shaped Entropia Universe from its early years to the modern era.

Use the search function to explore specific Version Updates, locate historical features, or trace how particular systems and mechanics have developed across different eras of the universe.

Some Version Update release notes are currently missing or temporarily unavailable due to the migration from PlanetCalypsoForum to the new Entropia Forum. PlanetCalypsoForum historically served as a primary archival source for Entropia Universe VU documentation, and some older or recent VU posts may not have migrated cleanly or may still be unavailable while the forum transition settles.

RESETTLEMENT UPDATE

A faulty wiring in the Jason Centre teleporter caused the passenger to relocate several miles up in the air on rematerialization if accessed through Twin Peaks, Fort Ares or Jason Centre teleporters, and the Jason Centre teleporter was deemed hazardous by the Imperial Public Transportation Office. For your safety, it has been removed and replaced with one of the spare teleporters erroneously placed at Segna Forest. Teleporter service to Jason Centre should now work correctly, and there’s just one teleporter at Segna Forest.

The shopping container at the outpost south of Strength Keep has been excavated after the landslide and is now restored to working order.

Imperial Zoological Scouts have discovered that trilomites have returned to Amethera.

Imperial Mining Office is proud to announce the new and improved Oil Rig in the desert west of Nymphtown. “We know that this rig is located in bandit country” said Harlan Macaulay, spokesman for IMO, “but we feel that we have taken the necessary precautions to ward off raiders, and we look forward to the projected production increase of petrochemicals in the near future.” The new Oil Rig will undergo rigorous field testing before production starts.
