Added Fort Sisyphus, located NW of Hadesheim Crater
  • Ideal for new colonists.
  • Added a hunting mission chain that rewards CDF Scout armor parts.
  • This smaller Fort is also a Dynamic Event area, with a different and shorter format.
  • Arriving to the area during the event will give quick Dynamic Event and shared creature info.
  • A CDF Scout at Orthos West Mound can take you to an outpost close to the Fort.
The Calypso Defense Force now offers the opportunity for colonists to earn access to the CDF Upgrade service. The first available upgrade is for the Teleportation Chip II. Talk to Liaison Guiying in Fort Ithaca for more information.

Avatar Statues
Monuments in the form of avatar statutes have been added at the following locations:

  • Twin Peaks Main.
  • Twin Peaks Octagon.
  • Port Atlantis Main.
  • Port Atlantis Waterfront.
  • Cape Corinth.
  • Fort Troy.
  • Minopolis.
  • Zychion.
  • Fort Ithaca.
  • Nymphtown.
  • Half Moon Bay.
  • Athena Spaceport.
The deeds for each of these statues will be placed on the auction in mid-December. After the conclusion of the auctions, the deed holders will then have the opportunity to immortalize their avatars in the statues, along with customized text inscriptions in the statue bases.

Land Grab Forts adjustments (Note: these are minor, perhaps temporary, adjustments pending more substantial improvements planned for future Version Updates):
  • Half of the service terminals in the main hub of the forts have been removed and the remaining have been placed on the upper level away from the LG claim to reduce the safe zone area that can be too advantageous for defenders covering the claim.
  • It is now not possible to spawn vehicles inside the LG area when event is active.

Fixed Issues
  • Fixed an issue in the “Research Recovery (Daily)” mission where the mission didn’t update properly when exiting the cave.
  • Fixed an issue where one could get stuck when trying to enter the cave during the “Argonautical Assassination” mission.
  • Fixed an issue where faulty text was appearing in the Belkar, Iron, Lysterium and Zinc Mining missions.
  • Fixed an issue where the objectives didn’t update in the mission “Shooting Star”.
  • Fixed an issue where one could receive double progress from the Research Equipment Boxes during the “Research Recovery (Daily)” mission.
  • Fixed an exploit where one could use the “Row Your Boat” missions as an emergency teleport.
  • Fixed several Estate issues.

Known Issues
  • Shadow Armor is shinier than intended.
  • It is possible to spawn vehicles in the Oil Rig area, it should be similar to the Fort Argus PvP Zone.
  • There’s an unintended dip in the ground in Fort Fury.
  • Interacting with Liaison Atwell during the “Liaison Guiying’s Task” mission will trigger that mission’s in-progress dialogue.
  • Fort Argus PvP area sometimes disables radar.

Viceroy armor upgrades

You now have the opportunity to be able to upgrade your Viceroy Armor pieces. This will require that you obtain a very special item called Nanites. These little microscopic robots are all over Planet Arkadia and they are extremely evasive. There is no documented location, mined or creature drop that is recorded yet, so their whereabouts are unknown.

The new armor has the following stats once upgraded.

Durability: 3250
Impact: 16
Burn: 12
Cold: 9
Cut: 11
Stab: 11
Acid: 15

And the Set bonuses

3 Parts: 5 Percent Evade
5 Parts: 10 Percent Evade
7 Parts: 10 Percent Evade
7 Parts: 0.2 Percent Increased Critical Hit Chance

New Vehicle : The Sandrunner

Designed for the long distances across sandy terrains, the Sandrunner is made for those who explore the unknown reaches of any planet. Engineered to travel through the mightiest of storms, the Sandrunner has one flaw, it cannot travel over water due to the displacement of gravity below it. Somehow, the density of water seems to break the anti-gravity law and scientists are discovering new ways to expand this technology for better applied purposes.

The IFN have released this blueprint of the Sandrunner to the general public in the attempt at assisting in discovering more of the planet that has gone undocumented. for your convenience, you will be able to purchase the component blueprint from a local technician terminal.

New Resources Discovered

The Archelogical Society have discovered in an abandoned Smuggler crate, 4 new resources that have not yet been discovered in the past. The location for these are still to be discovered as no record indicated their whereabouts. If you have any information on their origins, please share the information with your fellow Arkadians.

Bismuth Fragment

Elemental bismuth may occur naturally, although its sulfide and oxide form important commercial ores, although it was often confused with lead and tin, which share some physical properties.

Bismuth Plating

Refined Bismuth is by far one of the most beautiful metal alloys with an unusually low toxicity for a heavy metal. Refined, it is one of the highest atomic mass element that is considered stable.

Bismuth Texture

Bismuth is a brittle metal with a white, silver-pink hue, often occurring in its native form, with an iridescent oxide tarnish showing many colors from yellow to blue. Simply beautiful.

According to research, Nanites are microscopic size nanomachines that operate together to modify and alter the complete structure of any material. Considered an extremely rare resource.

New Additions
- Dynamic Map Unlocks
- Ngu Volcano has reached level 1, now has a dedicated spawn of Old Jack.
- Mer Beach has reached level 2, now has the first steps of the Underfolken and their secrets.
- Turrelion Desert has reached level 2, and now has a new PvP area with spawned items.
- Second Meta unlock as been achieved: The Miner Island's has been risen, new missions and a new mining area, no creatures to get in the way.

- Puny Hunter Draoblib has come over to the Zyn Forest Teleporter and needs players who want to hunt some very tough puny minions: Mang Chang and Rhino Beetles.

- Booths! All booths will be coming out, with a few caveats:
-- No booth will be owned, all booths will be given to players for 1 quarter.
-- They will be given out based on different merits and events.
-- Event times have not yet been set.

-Fixed numerous grammatical and typographical errors in missions and NPCs.
- The map for Cyrene has been updated for reflect the latest changes.
- All token vendors are now spawing items at various rates.
- Merfolken have had their damage type expanded.

Known Issues
- Coat of the Proving Grounds for outside the Hub isn't triggering correctly, this will be corrected in the Mini Patch.
- The Mission "Getting Battle Ready", sometimes will not allow players to acquire this mission, this is being looked into.
- Support weapons are not currently working properly, this is a platform issue.
- The Spear MK. III is difficult to maneuver, this is being looked into.
- The Spear destroyed model becomes invisible, this issue is being looked into.
- All Cyrene vehicles (P.I.G.V., Spear, Lancer, Dragonfly) have default sounds, this will be addressed in a future patch.
- Some Quality Ratings information in blueprint book: A.R.C. is incorrect, and this issue is still being looked into.

Planet Cyrene - October 2016 Update

Hello everyone,

While today we do have some bug fixes rolling out for certain issues; Hail Lazidol! mission, a fix for the Empis Wasp Queen FAP combine, as well as some more simpler ones. These will come with the Mini Patch next week.

That being said, there will be no new content added to Planet Cyrene today, October 4th 2016.

We are still focused on resolving the issues that are currently plaguing Cyrene, especially the loot drops / vendor item stocks, as well as laying down a ground work for future players to have a better starting experience and veteran players to have a multitude of complete game play options on Cyrene.

In the mean time, we will be updating the Cyrene Dynamic Upgrade Map with all the players work during this time and sharing more about what we'll be doing and what is coming up for Cyrene, not limited to but including: shops, booths, land areas, new content, and PvP.

Each will get their own forum thread and all players can post feedback about the new content before it comes out.

    He also converts the collected "Card Parts" into "Completed Cards" needed to access the Mini Instances.

    Azraq allows access to each Mini Instance, by providing him with the "Completed Card".

Added Hestia Plot city southwest, west of Zychion. Its teleporter is visible to everyone.
Added Fort Lahar, with Fort Incursions, near the previous location of Fort Isis.
  • As with previous Fort Incursions, there is a robot spawn nearby which will trigger a pre-event when enough of them have been destroyed
  • Removed Fort Isis, and changed parts of the nearby terrain
  • Removed a nearby generic outpost.
  • Added a mission that guides colonists from Fort Fury to Fort Lahar
  • Added a mission at Fort Lahar that rewards (L) armor plates.
